EOR & BPO terms explained.

EOR (Employer of Record)
A third party that legally employs staff on your behalf in a country where you don't have an entity, handling payroll, tax, and compliance.
BPO (Business Process Outsourcing)
Contracting a business function — like customer support or back-office ops — to an external provider that runs it end-to-end.
Managed Dedicated Team
A full-time, exclusive team that works only for your company, where you direct the work but a partner handles employment and HR.
PEO (Professional Employer Organization)
A co-employment arrangement where the PEO shares employer responsibilities with you, typically used within a single country you already operate in.
Partner-of-Record Network
A vetted network of local employment partners used to deliver EOR services in countries where a provider doesn't have its own entity.
Retention-First Model
A pricing and incentive structure where the provider is rewarded for keeping your team in place long-term, not for placing and moving on.
